Swiss company YASAI AG will open a vertical salad farm in Zurich (Switzerland) with the help of AgriFarm Tech. The farm will have a total planting area of 585 square meters and will produce 20 tons of fresh herbs per year
As a partner in the project, AgriFarm Tech is responsible for installing a range of hardware, including equipment for preparing customized nutrient solutions and equipment for controlling the indoor microclimate. In addition, the platform is up and running, allowing YASAI to remotely manage the farm and harvest delicious, high-quality herbs using "plant growth recipes". AgriFarm Tech serves as a supplier of automatic racking and plant lighting equipment, which simplifies production and maximizes efficiency.
Based on the success of this project, AgriFarm Tech, YASAI plan to open and expand similar automated, compact and efficient vertical farms in Switzerland and around the world.
